09 Basic Adjustment Settings I-P Mode Perform optimum conversion from interlace signals to progressive signals. This works for both video and still images. Selections 1 2 Optimum for video images Standard setting 3 Optimum for still images 7 Press HOME MENU, INPUT 1 to INPUT 6 (INPUT) to exit the menu. NOTE Can be set only when a video signal is input. However, this setting is not supported if either of the following conditions apply: • Conditions for setting "3DYC": NTSC signal input and PAL signal input from INPUT6. • Signals for which "I-P Mode" is not settable: 480p, 720p, 576p, 1080p. Sound adjustments You can adjust the sound quality to your preference with the following settings. Adjust the sound to your preference for the chosen AV Selection option. See page 22. 1 Press HOME MENU. 2 Select "Sound" ( / then ENTER (ENTER/DISP.)). 3 Select an item to be adjusted ( / ). 4 Select the desired level ( / ). Press / to select "Yes", and then press ENTER (ENTER/DISP.). FOCUS This shifts the sound coming direction (sound images) upward and produces clear sound contours. 1 Press HOME MENU. 2 Select "Sound" ( / then ENTER (ENTER/DISP.)). 3 Select "FOCUS" ( / ). 4 Select the desired parameter ( / ). FOCUS Off Front Surround Off Reset Item Off On Description Deactivates the FOCUS. Activates the FOCUS. 5 Press HOME MENU, INPUT 1 to INPUT 6 (INPUT) to exit the menu. NOTE • The effect of this function differs depending on signals. Front Surround This provides three-dimensional sound effects and/or deep, rich bass. 1 Press HOME MENU. 2 Select "Sound" ( / then ENTER (ENTER/DISP.)). 3 Select "Front Surround" ( / ). 4 Select the desired parameter ( / ). Item Off SRS TruBass TruBass + SRS Description Deactivates both the SRS and TruBass. Reproduces highly effective three-dimensional sound. Provides deep, rich bass using a new technology. Provides both TruBass and SRS effects. 5 Press HOME MENU, INPUT 1 to INPUT 6 (INPUT) to exit the menu.
