03 Connecting your equipment [4] 5.1ch surround & Speaker B connection With these connections you can simultaneously enjoy 5.1-channel surround sound in the main zone with stereo playback of the same sound on the B speakers. • Surr Back System setting: Speaker B FL Front left SW C Center Subwoofer Surround left SL FR Front right Surround right SR Other speaker connection • Your favorite speaker connections can be selected even if you have fewer than 5.1 speakers. • When not connecting a subwoofer, connect speakers with low frequency reproduction capabilities to the front channel. (The subwoofer's low frequency component is played from the front speakers, so the speakers could be damaged.) • After connecting, be sure to conduct the Auto MCACC (speaker environment setting) procedure (page 37).
