Ⅲ On This Shot to activate the flash for one shot. Ⅲ Always to activate the flash for all pictures. Setting the Self-Timer To activate the Self-Timer: 1. From camera mode, press Options ( ). 2. Highlight Self-Timer and press the navigation key up or down to select the desired length of delay (Off, 10 seconds, 5 seconds) and press . 3. Press to focus the image. (If the focus is successful, the view finder focus points will turn green. If unsuccessful, they will turn red. Note: Auto-Focus must be turned on to press OK before taking the picture. If Auto-Focus is turned off, pressing OK will take the picture. To turn Auto-Focus on, see "Selecting Camera Settings" on page 180. 4. Select Capture ( ) when you are ready to start the timer. 5. Get ready for the picture. (The phone will begin to beep when the timer is started.) To cancel the Self-Timer after it has started: ᮣ Press . Note: While the Self-Timer is active, all keys are disabled except Back (stops the timer and returns to the camera mode), End (cancels the timer and returns to standby mode), and the right softkey button (Cancel). 176 Section 2J: Using the Built-in Camera and Camcorder
