Basic Connection Using Other Types of Video Output In order to view clearer DVD images, it is recommended that you use a commercially available S-video or component video cable when connecting your TV to the video output. TV The Recorder To S-video input jack S-video cable (commercially available) Connecting Using an S-VIDEO Output Connect the S-VIDEO Output jack on this Recorder to the Svideo input jack on your TV using an S-video cable (commercially available). Important! •When using this connection, set "PROGRESSIVE OUT" to "PROGRESSIVE SCAN OFF" (see page 102). After the connection Plug in the power cord of the TV. Then go to "EZ Set Up" (see page 26).
