Watching TV Turning On/Off the Power Press POWER on the TV or on the remote control unit to turn the power on. nu CID • The Initial Installation starts when the TV powers on for the first time. Initial Installation When you turn on the TV for the first time, it will automatically memorize the broadcasting channels available in the region where you live. Perform the following steps before you press POWER on the remote control unit. 1. Insert the batteries into the remote control unit. (See page 9.) 2. Connect the antenna cable to the TV. (See page 9.) 3. Plug in the AC cord to the AC outlet. (See page 8.) • Auto Channel Search Channel auto search makes the TV look for all channels viewable in the set area. 3 After "Air/Cable" has beet set, move the cursor to "Auto Channel Search ". Press ► or ENTER to start channel search. Menu Language Signal Type Auto Channel Search English Air Execute • 0 0 Language (Language setting) Select from among 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. 1 Press 4* to select the desired language listed on the screen. • If no channel is found, confirm the type of connection made with your TV.
