Table of Contents Advanced operations Useful functions for recording movies and photos The available menu items differ between the movie mode ( ) and photo mode ( ). Recording better images automatically (Intelligent Auto) When the Intelligent Auto function sets to [On] ([Off] is the default setting), you can record with the most suitable setting by detecting the scene automatically. Select at the right bottom on the recording screen of movies or photos. Notes This product may not detect the expected scene or subject, depending on the recording conditions. Selecting the recording mode You can switch the recording mode to select the movie quality ([Standard ] is the default setting). The recording time of the memory card is changed depending on the recording mode. You cannot change the recording mode while recording 3D movies. Select (MENU) [Image Quality/Size] [ REC Mode]. Select the desired recording mode. Menu Lists Select [On] . Index Face detection (Portrait), (Baby) Scene detection (Backlight), (Landscape), (Night scene), (Spotlight), (Low light), (Macro) Camera-shake detection (Walk), (Tripod) Sound detection , (Auto Wind NR) To cancel the Intelligent Auto function, select [Off].
