Table of Contents IRIS You can shoot images with the IRIS priority mode. If you adjust the IRIS, you can sharpen the subject with its background blurred or sharpen the whole image. Auto Adjusts IRIS automatically. Manual Adjusts IRIS manually. Tips You can also adjust manually by using the MANUAL dial (p. 30). Shutter Speed You can shoot images with the Shutter Speed priority mode. When you shoot a moving subject at a higher shutter speed, it appears as if frozen on the image. At a lower shutter speed, the subject appears as if it is flowing. Auto Adjusts the shutter speed automatically. Manual Adjusts the shutter speed manually. Tips You can also adjust manually by using the MANUAL dial (p. 30). AE Shift You can adjust the exposure based on the results of the automatic exposure measurement. Off Adjusts the exposure automatically. On (Adjusted number and EV) Adjusts the exposure manually. Select to record a brighter image, or select to record a darker image. Tips You can adjust the automatic exposure level to brighter or darker when [Exposure] is set to [Auto]. You can also adjust manually by using the MANUAL dial (p. 30). White Balance Shift You can adjust the white balance manually. Off Adjusts the white balance automatically. On ( and adjusted number) Adjusts the white balance manually.
