Save important movies and photos in advance.  Do not remove the battery pack or the AC Adaptor from this product while deleting the images. It may damage the memory card.  Do not eject the memory card while deleting images.  You cannot delete protected movies and photos. Undo the protection of the movies and photos, before you try to delete them (p. 33).  Tips  You can delete the image using on the playback screen.  To delete all images recorded in the memory card, and recover all the recordable space of the memory card, format the memory card (p. 58).  Reduced-size images which enable you to view many images at the same time on an index screen are called "thumbnails."  Select (MENU)  [Edit/ Copy]  [Delete] using the multi-selector.  To select and delete movies, select [Multiple Images]  [ MOVIE]/[ PHOTO]/ [ MOVIE/PHOTO]*.  Select the movies or photos to be deleted, then select . is displayed on the selected images.  Press PHOTO while selecting the desired thumbnail so that you can confirm the image.
