Setup items The Setup screen appears when you advance to in the menu and press B again. Factory settings are indicated with x. (Camera) Item AF Mode Digital Zoom Date/Time Red Eye Reduction AF Illuminator Auto Review Setting Description xSingle / Monitor / Cont Selects the focus operation mode (page 48). xSmart / Precision / Off Selects the digital zoom mode (page 26). Day & Time / Date / xOff Selects whether to superimpose the date or time onto the image (page 30). The date and time are not inserted in movie or Multi Burst mode. Also, the date and time appear only during playback, and do not appear during recording. On / xOff Reduces the red-eye phenomenon when using a flash (page 29). xAuto / Off Selects whether to emit an AF assist light in the dark. Helps when it is hard to focus on the subject under dark lighting (page 30). On / xOff Selects whether to automatically display the recorded image on the LCD screen immediately after shooting a still image.
