Symptom Cause The image and sound are interrupted by noise when you view a movie on a computer. • You are playing back the file directly from the "Memory Stick Duo." You cannot print an - image. - An error message appears when you set the CD-ROM (supplied) in your computer. • The computer display is not set correctly. Solution p Copy the file to the hard disk of your computer and then play back the file from the hard disk (pages 80, 81, 82 and 86). p Check the printer settings. p Click on HELP for the "ImageMixer Ver. 1.5 for Sony" application software. p Set the computer display as follows: Windows: 800 × 600 dots or more High Color (16-bit color, 65,000 colors) or more Macintosh: 800 × 600 dots or more 32,000-color mode or more "Memory Stick Duo" Symptom You cannot insert a "Memory Stick Duo." You cannot record on a "Memory Stick Duo." You cannot format a "Memory Stick Duo." You have formatted a "Memory Stick Duo" by mistake. Cause • You are inserting it incorrectly. Solution p Insert it from the right side (page 19). • You are using a "Memory Stick Duo" with a write-protect switch, and the write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick Duo" is set to the LOCK position. • The "Memory Stick Duo" is full. • The image size is set to [640(Fine)] when recording movies. p Set it to the recording position (page 109). p Delete unnecessary images (pages 39 and 72). pInsert a "Memory Stick PRO Duo" (pages 70 and 109). p Set the image size to other than [640(Fine)]. • You are using a "Memory Stick Duo" with a write-protect switch, and the write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick Duo" is set to the LOCK position. p Set it to the recording position (page 109). • All the data on the "Memory Stick Duo" are p We recommend that you set the "Memory Stick Duo" writedeleted by formatting.
