Number of images and battery life that can be recorded/ viewed The tables show the approximate number of images and the battery life that can be recorded/ viewed when you shoot images in normal mode with a fully charged battery pack at a temperature of 25°C (77°F). The numbers of images that can be recorded or viewed take into account changing the supplied "Memory Stick" as necessary. Note that the actual numbers may be less than indicated depending on the conditions of use. The battery capacity decreases as you use it more and more and as time passes (page 121). - [AF Mode] is set to [Monitor] or [Cont] in the SET UP settings The Power Save function When the Power Save function is activated, you can shoot for a longer period of time. Set the mode dial to SET UP, and set [Power Save] in (Setup 1) to [On]. The 1 factory setting is [Off] (page 117). • [Power Save] appears only when you use the camera with the battery back. When [Power Save] is set to [On] While charging the flash, the /CHG lamp flashes and the LCD screen turns off. After the charging is complete, the lamp goes out and the LCD screen turns on.

The Power Save function
