Iris priority: Gain and Shutter speed of the camera can be adjusted automatically, and Iris can be selected. When it is selected, Iris and Slow shutter are displayed and they can be set. Manual: You can set the exposure manually. When you select it, Shutter speed, Gain and Iris are displayed and you can set them. According to the Exposure mode, the following setting options are displayed. Slow shutter Set the Slow shutter. When On is selected, auto exposure setting including the long time exposure is set to suit to the brightness of the scene. Backlight compensation You can set On or Off of the exposure compensation. Selecting 3 gives the image with the highest saturation. Sharpness Select the sharpness in 7 steps, from -3 to 3. Selecting 3 gives the image with the highest sharpness. Contrast Select the contrast in 7 steps, from -3 to 3. Selecting 3 gives the image with the highest contrast. Note The brightness, saturation, and contrast settings are effective for the images on a computer. They are not effective for the video output. OK/Cancel See "Buttons common to every setting menu" on page 31. Administrating the Camera User preset You can save the present settings in the camera as the custom, or you can load the settings saved in the camera. Save: Click to save the present settings of the Picture tab. Load: Click to load the saved settings. To use them, click OK. Day/Night Tab Use this tab to set the day/night function of the camera. Exposure compensation Exposure compensation function adjusts the brightness at the AE. Selectable values of the exposure compensation are as follows. -10.5dB, -9dB, -7.5dB, -6dB, -4.5dB, -3dB, -1.5dB, 0dB, 1.5dB, 3dB, 4.5dB, 6dB, 7.5dB, 9dB, 10.5dB Brightness Tweaks the exposure set in the exposure mode. It is brighter when a large value is selected, and it is darker when a small value is selected. The value among -5 to 5 can be set. The day/night function consists of five tabs.
