Recording Images in Memory - Image memory setting Menu When you click Image memory on the Administrator menu, the Image memory setting menu appears. By using the image memory function, you can record the image and audio file, which has been shot being linked with the external sensor input or with the built-in motion detection function, to the built-in memory (about 8 MB) of the camera or CF memory card. The image file can also be recorded periodically. You can also record a still image periodically. The recorded image and audio files can be found or downloaded to the computer using the FTP server function. (See "Downloading Images from the Camera - FTP server setting Menu" on page 58.) Image memory setting menu is composed of three tabs Common, Alarm recording and Periodical recording. For the verified cards, contact your authorized Sony dealer. Notes Sequence number clear Click Clear and the suffix of the sequence number returns to 1. Mode Select either Periodical mode by the timer management or Synchronized tour mode which sends in each setting position during Tour. When you select Periodical mode, set Interval and Effective period. Interval Type the interval at which you want to send images to the FTP server periodically. You can set the hour (H), minutes (M) and seconds (S) between 1 second and 24 hours (one day). Note Administrating the Camera The actual interval may be longer than the set value, depending on the image size, image quality setting, bit rate and the network environments. Effective period Set the period when the periodical sending is effective. Always: The periodical sending is always effective. Schedule: You can specify the period when the periodical sending is effective in the schedule setting in the other section. Click Schedule and the setting menu for the effective period is displayed. ("Setting the Schedule - Schedule setting Menu" on page 62) • The image and audio files recorded in the built-in memory will be erased when the power of the camera is turned off. • The frame rate and operability on the main viewer may decrease during image storage in the memory. • When you remove the CF memory card or you turn off the camera with the CF memory card inside, set Image memory function to OFF. • When you remove or insert a card, wait at least 10 seconds. • Format the CF memory card in the computer before use. Note
The actual interval may be longer than the set value,
depending on the image size, image quality setting, bit
rate and the network environments.
Effective period
Set the period when the periodical sending is effective.
Always:
The periodical sending is always effective.
Schedule:
You can specify the period when the
periodical sending is effective in the schedule setting
in the other section.
Click
Schedule
and the setting menu for the effective

Recording Images in

When you click
Image memory
on the Administrator
