Indexing a Program Source (Continued) Using the Sleep Timer To change the index name Store a new name to replace it. Usable letters and symbols You can use any of the following characters to create a function index name: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,-,(space) To switch the original function name display and created index name display Each time you press DISPLAY, the selected function name (which corresponds to the function selector) and the created index name are alternately displayed. You can set the receiver to turn off automatically at a time that you specify. 1 1 Press SLEEP on the remote while the power is on. Each time you press SLEEP, the time is displayed in the following order: 2 hours -.1 hour and 30 minutes 1 hour -► 30 minutes -► SLEEP OFF. 2 Press A or V to precisely specify the sleep time, if necessary. You can change the sleep time by 1 minute and extend the time up to 5 hours. When the sleep timer function is turned on, the display becomes dimmer. To check the remaining time of the sleep timer Press SLEEP. The remaining time is displayed. Note After you have checked the remaining time, the display returns to the function display and becomes dimmer. 24
