Dolby Surround Sound (Continued) Adjusting the Speaker Volume To obtain the best possible surround sound, set the volume of the front, center, and rear speakers to the same level. A Test Tone feature lets you test the volume of each speaker set. The indicator of the last selected sound field lights up. 2 Press SOUND FIELD MODE so that DOLBY SUR indicator lights. 3 Press the CENTER MODE button to select the center mode according to your speaker system. TONE on the remote control to set to on. 28 5 Adjust the volume level so that sound from each speaker will be the same level at your listening position. To adjust the level of center speaker Press CENTER LEVEL +/- on the remote commander. To adjust the level of rear speakers Press REAR LEVEL +/- on the remote commander. When operating with buttons on the front panel: Press A or v to select the CENTER LEVEL or REAR LEVEL. Press < or > to adjust the level.
