Complete all required settings (indicated by red asterisk) and any optional settings, as follows: Share Name Share Description User Access Media Serving Assign a name to the share that clearly indicates the type of files it will contain. Enter a brief description of the content in the share. Select Private to limit the user's access to the share. From the drop-down list, select All, (for music, photos, and video) or None (excludes all media). 3. Click the Save button. The new share displays in the Share Access panel with the Private indicator displaying. Full access is automatically granted to the user. Changing a User's Password When viewing details about a user, the Administrator can change the user's password (no password is the default setting). 1. Select the user to display user details in the right column. 2. Click the Update Password button to display the following: 3. Enter the same password in both Password and Confirm Password; otherwise select the No Password check box.ith no double quotes 4. Click the Save button. Editing User Settings 1. To make changes to a user's profile, select the user in the User List. The User Details and Share Access panels display. 2. Modify the required and optional settings as desired. To update the user's access to shares, make the necessary changes in the Share Access panel. 3. Click the Save button. Deleting a User You can delete all users except the Administrator. 1.
