MIDI Functions On the 9000Pro, 16 channels of MIDI data can be transmitted/received over a single MIDI cable, or over a serial cable (using the TO HOST terminal). Since the 9000Pro features two independent MIDI "ports" (A and B), a total of 32 MIDI channels can be used simultaneously.
