Editing Lyrics/Text Display Settings To view the lyrics of the selected Song or the text, press the [SONG FUNCTION] button, followed by one of the [4 ]/[5 ] (Lyrics/Text) buttons. You can change settings such as the font size of the text. Lyrics display The lyrics in the Song data are shown. Text display The texts created on a computer are shown. Press [1 ]/ [2 ] buttons Press the [5 ]/[6 ] button to actually call up desired text file. 3 Songs NOTE When the lyrics are garbled or unreadable, you may need to change the Lyrics Language setting from the [MENU] → TAB [E] Menu1 → Cursor buttons [][][E][F] Song Setting → [ENTER] → Cursor buttons [][] 2 Lyrics Language (page 57). NOTE When you create a text file on a computer, make sure to enter line breaks manually. This is necessary because the auto line breaks cannot be entered on this instrument. If a sentence extends beyond the display and cannot be shown properly, revise the text data by manually entering appropriate line breaks. Clear (only when a text file is selected) Clears the text from the display. This operation does not delete the text file itself, but results in no text file being selected. If you want to restore the text indication, select the text file again via the [5 ]/[6 ] buttons. Text File Calls up the text File Selection display. After selecting, press the [EXIT] button to exit the display. Font Size-S/M/ L/S(P)/M(P)/ L(P) (only when a text file is selected) When the display language is set to other than Japanese Determines the font type and size. Font sizes not having the "P" indication (characters have the same width), are suitable for displaying lyrics with chord names, since the positions of chord names are fixed to the corresponding lyrics. Font sizes having the "P" indication (characters have different widths), are suitable for displaying lyrics without chord names or explanatory notes. S, M, and L indicate the font sizes.
