Chapter 4 Broadband 4.2.1 Edit Internet Connection In Network Setting > Broadband, click Add New WAN Interface the Edit icon next to the LTE connection to display the following screen. Use this screen to configure a WAN connection. Figure 18 Broadband Edit The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 4 Broadband Edit LABEL Name Type APN Dial String MTU NAT Enable Apply as Default Gateway DNS Server DESCRIPTION Specify the name for this WAN interface. Select LTE for an LTE WAN interface. Enter the Access Point Name (APN) of an LTE network, which your service provider gave you. Enter the dial string for the ISP. The Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) defines the size of the largest packet allowed on an interface or connection. Enter the MTU for this WAN interface in this field. Select this to activate NAT on this WAN interface. Select this option to have the LTE Device use the WAN interface of this connection as the system default gateway. Select Obtain DNS info Automatically to have the LTE Device get the DNS server addresses from the ISP automatically. Select Use the following Static DNS IP Address to have the LTE Device use the DNS server addresses you configure manually. 38 LTE-5121 User's Guide
