Chapter 4 Broadband Table 5 SIM LABEL Input PIN Remain attempts Apply Cancel DESCRIPTION If you enabled PIN verification, enter the 4-digit PIN code (0000 for example) provided by your ISP. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly too many times, the ISP may block your 3G SIM card and not ley you use the account to access the Internet. This is how many more times you can try to enter the PIN code before the ISP blocks your SIM card. Click Apply to save your changes. Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving. 4.3.1 PUK Code Screen If the SIM card is locked, use this screen to enter the PUK (Pin Unlock Key) code. Note: You may have to ask the service provider for a PUK code to unlock the SIM card. You will need a new SIM card if you enter the wrong PUK code too many times. Figure 20 PUK Code The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 6 PUK Code LABEL DESCRIPTION PUK code Enter the PUK (Pin Unlock Key) code to unlock the SIM card. New PIN code Enter the new PIN code for the SIM card.
