Chapter 11 WAN 11.4 Internet Connection Use this screen to change your Router's Internet access settings. Click WAN from the Configuration menu. The screen differs according to the encapsulation you choose. 11.4.1 Ethernet Encapsulation This screen displays when you select Ethernet encapsulation. Figure 72 Network > WAN > Internet Connection: Ethernet Encapsulation The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 42 Network > WAN > Internet Connection: Ethernet Encapsulation LABEL DESCRIPTION ISP Parameters for Internet Access Encapsulation You must choose the Ethernet option when the WAN port is used as a regular Ethernet. WAN IP Address Assignment Get automatically from ISP (Default) Select this option If your ISP did not assign you a fixed IP address. This is the default selection. Use Fixed IP Address Select this option If the ISP assigned a fixed IP address. IP Address Enter your WAN IP address in this field if you selected Use Fixed IP Address. 102 NBG6503 User's Guide
