Error Handling Repair Parity Errors Automatically repair parity errors when found. 10.5.1.8 Clear Log Buffer The ICP RAID controller records certain events in a logging buffer which is part of the Flash-RAM. The Clear Log Buffer function detects and deletes entries from the log buffer. It is recommended to clear all events in the buffer when using the ICP RAID controller in a new system. Note: The Clear Log Buffer option is enabled in the XROM version of ICPCON and disabled in the OS version of ICPCON. To access this menu option, from the Advanced Setup menu, select the Configure Controller option and press Enter to display the Configure Controller menu, then select the Clear Log Buffer option and press Enter. ICPCON displays a warning message to verify whether or not to clear the log buffer. Press to clear the buffer or press to cancel the operation. 10.5.1.9 Remove Enclosure Config. To access this menu option, from the Advanced Setup menu, select the Configure Controller option and press Enter to display the Configure Controller menu, then select the Remove Enclosure Config. option and press Enter to display the Remove Configuration screen (Figure 10-68).
