Help Menu 11.3 Select Controller The Select Controller window is used to select an ICP RAID controller for all further actions within ICP RAID Navigator. See Figure 11-124. Figure 11-124. Select Controller Select the desired protocol (Windows NT/95*/98*/200/XP, Sockets, IBM*) for the communication between ICP RAID Navigator and the system equipped with the ICP RAID controller by double clicking on the protocol icon on the very left side of the window (see Figure 11-125). If you want to select an ICP RAID controller via TCP/IP (sockets), type in the corresponding TCP/IP address or the server system's name (see Figure 11-126). Enter a user name and password (see Figure 11-127). This information is transmitted with encryption. After you select the protocol, select the system which contains the ICP RAID controller and then the ICP RAID controller itself. The selection and de-selection is done by double clicking on the ICP RAID controller. Select Controller
The Select Controller window is used to select an ICP RAID controller for all further
