4. BIOS SETUP 4.4.3 PCI Configuration 4. BIOS SETUP PCI Configuration Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3, Slot 4, Slot 5, Slot 6, Slot 7 IRQ [Auto] (Slot 7 IRQ will only be displayed on supported models.) These fields set how IRQ use is determined for each PCI slot. The default setting for each field is [Auto], which utilizes auto-routing to determine IRQ use. Configuration options: [Auto] [NA] [3] [4] [5] [7] [9] [10] [11] [12] [14] [15] PCI/VGA Palette Snoop [Disabled] Some nonstandard VGA cards, such as graphics accelerators or MPEG video cards, may not show colors properly. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] PCI Latency Timer [32] Leave on default setting for best performance vs. stability. Onboard SCSI BIOS [Auto] [Auto] allows the motherboard's BIOS to detect whether you have a Symbios SCSI controller. If the Symbios SCSI controller is detected, the motherboard's Symbios BIOS will be enabled; if no Symbios SCSI controller is detected, the onboard Symbios SCSI BIOS will be disabled. [Disabled] will disable the motherboard's Symbios SCSI BIOS so that the BIOS on an add-on Symbios SCSI card can be used. Some nonstandard VGA cards, such as graphics accelerators or MPEG video

this problem. Otherwise, leave this on the default setting of [Disabled].

Onboard SCSI BIOS [Auto]
[Auto] allows the motherboard’s BIOS to detect whether you have a Symbios
SCSI controller. If the Symbios SCSI controller is detected, the
motherboard’s Symbios BIOS will be enabled; if no Symbios SCSI control-
ler is detected, the onboard Symbios SCSI BIOS will be disabled.
[Disabled] will disable the motherboard’s Symbios SCSI BIOS so that the
BIOS on an add-on Symbios SCSI card can be used. If your Symbios SCSI
card does not have a BIOS, the Symbios SCSI card will not function. Con-
