How to turn off the status monitor If you want to switch off the status monitor application, perform the following steps. 1 Right-click on the status monitor icon or window and select Load on Startup in the menu. 2 Set this function to Off and close the window from Exit. Even if the status monitor is off, you can see the machine's status anytime by clicking the Status Monitor from the Start menu on your computer.
