GETTING READY SEWING BASICS UTILITY STITCHES UTILITY STITCHES Realigning the pattern If the pattern appears as shown below, the stitching is misaligned in the vertical direction. CONTENTS The pattern may not be sewn correctly, depending on the type of fabric being sewn or the sewing speed. If this occurs, adjust the pattern while sewing on a piece of scrap fabric that is the same as that used for your project. Attach monogramming foot "N". a If the pattern appears as shown below, the stitching is misaligned in the horizontal direction. • For details, refer to "Replacing the presser foot" (page 37). Press (Stitch selection key) in the operation b panel. X The screen containing the various types of stitches appears. Press , , and (Arrow keys) until c is selected, and then select . X The pattern alignment stitch is selected. Start sewing. d If the pattern is not sewn correctly, follow the steps below to adjust the sewing. Realigning the pattern
The pattern may not be sewn correctly, depending on
the type of fabric being sewn or the sewing speed. If
this occurs, adjust the pattern while sewing on a
piece of scrap fabric that is the same as that used for
your project.
