Correct tension O Fabric • Surface • Upper thread O Lower thread Correct tension is important because too much or too little tension will weaken your seams or cause your fabric to pucker. Tighten tension by touching "S" (Strong). O Lower thread • Upper thread • Surface O Locks appear on surface of fabric. Loosen tension by touching "W" (Weak).
