Sewing edge In case of short stitch less than 0.5 cm (0.20 inch) Set basting thread at corner point. Turn direction at corner then start sewing pulling basting thread backward. 1. Scale on needle plate Scale on needle plate is useful to sew fabric, keeping same width from fabric edge. O 1.5 cm (0.59 inch) Support fabric feeding by hand, sew fabric to folded side. In case of straight stitch Sew slowly, keeping seams in parallel with fabric edge. 2. Stitch guide foot "P" for edge sewing. O 2 mm (0.079 inch) @ 18 (2 x 9) mm [0.709 (0.079 x 9) inch] NOTE Stitch guide foot "P" can be used for all utility stitches except button holes. This foot cannot be used at gap (folded part) of fabric. Free arm In case of zigzag stitch Set stitch length "Short" in order to obtain fine stitch.
