(2) Remove the film guide for film strips from the rear of the FAU Protective Sheet. Note Before scanning 35 mm slides, prepare the film guide for slides provided with the machine. 5 Mount film in the appropriate film guide as described below. z Mounting a 35 mm Film Strip: (1) On the film guide, open the film holder. Gently squeeze in the edges (A) of the film holder to release it (B). (A) (B) (2) Mount the film in the film guide with the front side (the side showing the correct image) face down. Remove the film guide for film strips from the rear of the FAU Protective Sheet.

Mount film in the appropriate film guide as described below.
Mounting a 35 mm Film Strip:
(1)
On the film guide, open the film holder.
Gently squeeze in the edges (A) of the film holder to release it (B).
(2)
Mount the film in the film guide with the front side (the side showing the correct image)
face down. Pass the tip of the film under the tabs of the film guide, then position the film
in the film guide so that the spaces between frames are aligned with the white line mark
of the film guide.
Note
Before scanning 35 mm slides, prepare the film guide for slides provided
with the machine.
