Basic format is used in most countries; use the extended format only if the country in which the Cisco ATA is used requires this format. Tone Parameter Syntax-Basic Format Each tone is specified by nine integers, as follows: parametername: NumOfFreqs,Tfreq1,Tfreq2,Tamp1,Tamp2,Steady,OnTime,OffTime, TotalToneTime • parametername is the name of the tone.
