Messages and Setup
Remote Control Settings
For information about the individual buttons on the remote control, please refer to the
Remote Control Tips on the inside front cover of this guide. Before programming the
remote control, you must first insert the batteries and complete Guided Setup.
The DIRECTV remote will already work with your DVR. You can also program some
buttons on the remote to control your TV and/or A/V receiver (your stereo system).

Then repeat the instructions using the second column (TV input).
