tear-off position The position to which the printer feeds the paper at the end of a print job. You can change the position by using the micro-feed feature. top-of-form The position on the paper that the printer recognizes as the first printable line. This is the default top-margin position. unidirectional printing Printing in which the print head prints in one direction only. Unidirectional printing is useful for printing graphics because it allows more precise vertical alignment than bidirectional printing. user-defined characters Characters that are defined and stored in the printer by the user. tear-off position
The position to which the printer feeds the paper at the end of a
print job. You can change the position by using the micro-feed
feature.
top-of-form
The position on the paper that the printer recognizes as the first
printable line. This is the default top-margin position.
unidirectional printing
Printing in which the print head prints in one direction only.
Unidirectional printing is useful for printing graphics because it
allows more precise vertical alignment than bidirectional printing.
user-defined characters
Characters that are defined and stored in the printer by the user.
Also called download characters.
