warning The projector is heavy (approximately 25 lb). Use care when handling it to prevent physical strain or injury. Transporting the Projector The projector is heavy and contains many glass and precision parts. Follow these guidelines to prevent injury or damage: ■ When hand-carrying the projector, you should use the handle to lift it only a short distance (for example, to set it on a table). To move the projector over longer distances, place it on a rolling cart or use a dolly. Handle note EPSON shall not be liable for any damages incurred during transportation. ■ When shipping the projector for repairs, use the original packaging material if possible. If you do not have the original packaging, use equivalent materials. ■ When transporting the projector a long distance, first place it in a hard-shell shipping case, and then pack it in a firm box, placing cushioning around the case. (An optional shipping case is available from EPSON; see page 14.) ■ It's a good idea to turn off the remote control before packing it in a carrying case. This prevents the batteries from discharging if something presses against one of the buttons. 106 Maintaining the Projector
