Using the Macintosh Desktop Adapter If you have an older desktop Macintosh or PowerBook, the VGA cable may not fit when you try to connect it. If so, you'll need to use a Macintosh desktop adapter to connect the VGA cable to your computer (available from EPSON; see page 14). 1. To use the adapter, remove its cover as shown and set its DIP switches according to the resolution you want to use, such as 16-inch mode. A chart with the DIP switch settings is provided with the adapter. 2. Replace the cover and connect the adapter to the VGA cable. Then plug the cable (with the adapter) into the video port on your Macintosh. 3. Tighten the screws on the connectors. 30 Setting Up the Projector

Setting Up the Projector
Using the Macintosh Desktop Adapter
If you have an older desktop Macintosh or PowerBook, the VGA
cable may not fit when you try to connect it. If so, you’ll need to use
a Macintosh desktop adapter to connect the VGA cable to your
computer (available from EPSON; see page 14).

To use the adapter, remove its cover as
shown and set its DIP switches according
to the resolution you want to use, such as
16-inch mode. A chart with the DIP switch
settings is provided with the adapter.
2.
Replace the cover and connect the adapter
to the VGA cable. Then plug the cable
(with the adapter) into the video port on
your Macintosh.
3.
Tighten the screws on the connectors.
