59 Camera Taking a photo 1. From the Home screen, tap > Camera. 2. Point the camera and focus on your subject. If you're taking a photo of a group of people, the camera will automatically recognize faces and adjust the focus. You'll see boxes on people's faces. Make sure the Auto focus and Face detection check boxes are selected in the camera settings. These options are only available if taking 2D photos. 3. When you're ready to take the photo, tap . Or, press the Camera button. 4. Choose what to do with the photo, such as share, set as wallpaper, and more. Recording video 1. From the Home screen, tap > Camera. 2. On the Viewfinder screen, tap Mode and then tap the Photo/Video slider to select Video. 3. Frame your subject on the Viewfinder screen. 4. Tap to start recording. 5. While recording, you can: § Freely zoom in or out. § Change focus to a different subject or area by just tapping it on the Viewfinder screen. § Tap the flash button to switch the camera light on or off. 6. To stop recording, tap again. 7. Choose what to do with the video, such as share, trim, play, and more.

Taking a photo
1.
From the Home screen, tap

Camera
.
2.
Point the camera and focus on your subject.
If you're taking a photo of a group of people, the camera will automatically
recognize faces and adjust the focus. You'll see boxes on people's faces.
Make sure the
Auto focus
and
Face detection
check boxes are selected in the
camera settings. These options are only available if taking 2D photos.

When you're ready to take the photo, tap
. Or, press the Camera button.
4.
Choose what to do with the photo, such as share, set as wallpaper, and more.
Recording video
1.
From the Home screen, tap

On the Viewfinder screen, tap

and then tap the Photo/Video slider to

Video

Frame your subject on the Viewfinder screen.

Tap
to start recording.

While recording, you can:
