Menus • NTI Schedule Viewer Creating a Drive Backup 1 At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and then Control Center. 2 On the Backup tab, click Back up Entire Hard Drive. 3 Select Drive to Backup from the drop-down list. Note: Note the amount of used space shown in this step and make sure that your media vault has enough storage capacity for the backup. 4 Browse or type the destination for your backup. 5 Type a backup name. NTI DriveBackup! automatically names the backup file using the computer name, date, and time. You can rename the backup if desired. You should use a unique name to identify the backup. 6 Click Options and select the desired backup options: General Tab - Compression Selecting this option enables NTI DriveBackup! to reduce the size of the backup. The size reduction depends on the kind of data being compressed. Some kinds of audio and a video files are already compressed; subsequently, further compression is negligible. - Verify 11-
