3 Double-click the name of a shared folder to browse its contents. If you haven't saved any files to the shared folder, the folder is empty. To use My Network Places in Windows XP to browse You must map your network drives before completing this procedure. 1 At the computer, click Start, My Computer, My Network Places. 2 In the Name column, locate the shared folder you want to open. For example, if opening the Documents shared folder, My Network Places lists the name as Documents on HPMediaVault. 3 Click Documents on HPMediaVault to open the Documents shared folder and browse its contents.
