Similar to folders on your computer, you can set up shared folders to store and share files or to restrict access to certain network users. Viewing Shared Folders The following instructions tell you how to view information about shared folders. To view shared folders 1 At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and then Control Center. 2 On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault. You are prompted for an administrator name and password if you set one up. For additional information, see Editing System Settings on page 2-26. 3 Click the Shared Folders tab. The first time you enter the configuration screens and before you've created other shared folders, there are the five pre-configured folders: Backup, Documents, Music, Photos, and Videos.
