Managing the MSA SAN Switch 2/8 Diagnostic Tests Diagnostic tests are provided to help troubleshoot the hardware and the firmware. The diagnostic tests provided on the switch include tests of internal connections and circuitry, fixed media, and any SFP modules and fiber optic cables in use. The tests are implemented by command, either through a telnet session or a serial connection. All diagnostic tests are run at link speeds of both 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps. For information about the specific diagnostic tests and how to run them, refer to the HP StorageWorks Fabric OS Procedures User Guide. Diagnostic Tests
