Note: The illustrations in this document might differ slightly from your hardware. Complete the following steps to remove the bezel: 1. Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 40. 2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all external cables and power cords. 3. Remove the side cover (see "Side cover removal" on page 42). 4. Press the bezel-release latch at the top of the server to disconnect the top of the bezel from the server. 5. Release the two tabs at the top edge of the bezel and pull the top of the bezel slightly away from the server. 6. Pull the bezel up to release the two tabs at the bottom edge of the bezel. 2.
Turn
off
the
server
and
peripheral
devices
and
disconnect
all
external
cables
and
power
cords.
3.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
“Side
cover
removal”
on
page
42).
4.
Press
the
bezel-release
latch
at
the
top
of
the
server
to
disconnect
the
top
of
the
bezel
from
the
server.
5.
Release
the
two
tabs
at
the
top
edge
of
the
bezel
and
pull
the
top
of
the
bezel
slightly
away
from
the
server.
6.
Pull
the
bezel
up
to
release
the
two
tabs
at
the
bottom
edge
of
the
bezel.
Store
the
bezel
in
a
safe
place.
