To remove the CD-ROM drive, do the following: 1. Power-off the server, if it is on. 2. Unplug the server. 3. Remove the cover (see "Side cover removal" on page 42). 4. Disconnect the cables. 5. Remove the screws from the CD-ROM drive cage. 6. Gently slide the CD-ROM drive toward the front of the server and lift it out. Floppy disk drive Before you begin: v Read "Safety information" on page 103. v Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 40. To remove the floppy disk drive, do the following: 1. Power-off the server, if it is on. 2. Unplug the server. 3. Remove the cover (see "Side cover removal" on page 42). 4. Disconnect the cables. 5. Remove the screws from the floppy disk drive cage. 6. To
remove

cables.

the

the

drive
cage.
6.
Gently
slide
the
CD-ROM
drive
toward
the
front
of
the
server
and
lift
it
out.
