Page 61 highlights

Keyboard cabling You can use the keyboard connector on the back of the server to connect a keyboard or optional console switch to the server. You can also connect a USB keyboard to the server using one of the USB connectors. After installing a USB keyboard, you might need to use the Configuration/Setup Utility program to enable keyboardless operation and prevent the POST error message 301 from being displayed during startup. For detailed information about how to connect a keyboard or console switch to your server, see the documentation that comes with the keyboard or console switch. Gigabit Ethernet cabling Use the two Ethernet connectors on the back of the server to connect the server to a local area network (LAN). Note: A third Ethernet connector is located on the Remote Supervisor Adapter. This connector is used for specific supervisory functions and should not be confused with the Gigabit Ethernet connector located next to the USB connectors. Remote Supervisor Adapter cabling Your server comes with a Remote Supervisor Adapter or a Remote Supervisor Adapter II-EXA. For information about cabling the Remote Supervisor Adapter connectors, see the appropriate Remote Supervisor Adapter User's Guide on the IBM xSeries Documentation CD. Chapter 2.
