Enhanced Error Containment Mode Option Values: Enabled Disabled Help Text: Enable Enhanced Error Containment Mode (Data Poisoning) - Erroneous data coming from memory will be poisoned. If disabled (default), will be in Legacy Mode - No data poisoning support available. Comments: Enhanced Error Containment (Data Poisoning) is not supported by all models of processors, and this option will not appear unless all installed processors support Enhanced Error Containment. This option globally enables or disables both Core and Uncore Data Poisoning, for processors which support them. Back to [Processor Configuration Screen] - [Advanced Screen] 28. MLC Streamer Option Values: Enabled Disabled Help Text: MLC Streamer is a speculative prefetch unit within the processor(s). / NOTE Modifying this setting may affect performance. Comments: MLC Streamer is normally Enabled, for best efficiency in L2 Cache and Memory Channel use, but disabling it may improve performance for some processing loads and on certain benchmarks. MLC Spatial Prefetcher Option Values: Enabled Disabled Help Text: [Enabled] - Fetches adjacent cache line (128 bytes) when required data is not currently in cache. Comments: MLC Spatial Prefetcher is normally Enabled, for best efficiency in L2 Cache and Memory Channel use, but disabling it may improve performance for some processing loads and on certain benchmarks.
