The following methods are used for restoring files: v "Single file restore" on page 16 v "File rescue" on page 16 v "Operating system and applications" on page 16 v "Restore system drive only" on page 16 v "Rejuvenation" on page 16 v "Full restore" on page 17 v "Custom recovery" on page 17 Notes: 1. The Rescue and Recovery program cannot capture cached credentials for a domain user after a restore operation. 2. The Rescue and Recovery program cannot restore partitions that are created and placed physically before the system drive. 3. The Rescue and Recovery program do not support a full restore operation if you boot your system from another external media. Recovery methods
Within this section, you will find information for restore types and recovery
methods such as rejuvenation, custom recovery, and express repair. The following

Notes:
1.
The Rescue and Recovery program cannot capture cached credentials for a
domain user after a restore operation.
2.
The Rescue and Recovery program cannot restore partitions that are created
and placed physically before the system drive.

The Rescue and Recovery program do not support a full restore operation if
you boot your system from another external media. For example, if you
perform a full restore operation from your USB hard disk drive, make sure that
you boot your system from this USB hard disk drive as well.
