To clear the error, enter ThinkPad Setup. • Message: 0251: System CMOS checksum bad - Default configuration used Solution: The system CMOS might have been corrupted or modified incorrectly by an application program that changes data stored in CMOS. The computer uses the default settings. Run ThinkPad Setup to reconfigure the settings.
