2 Video graphics array (VGA) connector Attach a VGA compatible monitor or projector to your computer to display the computer output. Note: If you attach your computer to a docking station or port replicator, use the VGA connector on the docking station or port replicator, not the one on the computer. For details, see "Attaching an external monitor" on page 36. 3 Mini DisplayPort connector Your computer has a Mini DisplayPort connector, a next-generation digital display interface that connects a compatible projector, an external monitor, or a High Definition Television (HDTV) to your computer. 4 USB 3.0 connector The USB 3.0 connectors are used for connecting devices compatible with a USB interface, such as a USB printer or a digital camera. Notes: • When you attach a USB cable to the connector, ensure that the USB mark is to the upper side. Otherwise the connector might be damaged. • The USB 3.0 function only works in the Windows 7 operating system. If you are using other Windows operating system rather than Windows 7, the connector works as a USB 2.0 connector. 5 USB 2.0 connector The USB 2.0 connectors are used for connecting devices compatible with a USB interface, such as a USB printer or a digital camera. Video graphics array (VGA) connector
Attach a VGA compatible monitor or projector to your computer to display the computer output.
Note:
If you attach your computer to a docking station or port replicator, use the VGA connector on the
docking station or port replicator, not the one on the computer.

Mini DisplayPort connector
Your computer has a Mini DisplayPort connector, a next-generation digital display interface that connects a
compatible projector, an external monitor, or a High Definition Television (HDTV) to your computer.

USB 3.0 connector
The USB 3.0 connectors are used for connecting devices compatible with a USB interface, such as a
USB printer or a digital camera.
Notes:
When you attach a USB cable to the connector, ensure that the USB mark is to the upper side. Otherwise
the connector might be damaged.
The USB 3.0 function only works in the Windows 7 operating system. If you are using other Windows
