Removing a keyboard To remove the keyboard, do the following: 1. Turn off the computer, then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer. Wait for three to five minutes to let the computer cool before you start the following procedures. 2. Ensure to remove any card inserted in the Media card reader. Close the computer display, and turn the computer over. 3. Remove the battery. See "Replacing the battery" on page 65. 4. Loosen screws 1 and 2 and remove the cover. 5. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard. 6. Turn the computer over and open the display. Chapter 6. Replacing devices 71
Removing a keyboard
To remove the keyboard, do the following:
1. Turn off the computer, then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer. Wait for
three to five minutes to let the computer cool before you start the following procedures.
