To enable Resource Save after this message displays: • Install additional memory, or • Set the link buffer to Auto, and exit the menus to activate the link buffer changes. When Ready displays, enable Resource Save from the SETUP MENU and modify the link buffer again. Press Go to disable Resource Save and continue printing. The printer memory used to store pages of data is too full to collate the rest of the print job. • Press Go to clear the message, print the portion of the job already in memory, and collate the rest of the job. • Cancel the current job. The printer lacks the memory needed to enable
Resource Save
. This message usually indicates that too much
memory is allocated for one or more of the printer link buffers.
To enable

after this message displays:
Install additional memory,

operation.

To perform the defragment operation, you can:
Delete fonts, macros, and other data in printer RAM.
