Overview of Web features Web Configuration Service Settings Use this section to provide information about the ICAP services that the appliance provides to your ICAP client software. See the documentation for your ICAP client for further details. Table 162 Option definitions Option Preview size Definition Specifies the number of bytes of data that will be sent by an ICAP client using the ICAP Preview option. Some ICAP clients do not accept values greater than 4096 bytes. Default value is 4 Kilobytes. Service ID Specifies the ICAP service ID that is returned when an ICAP client makes an ICAP OPTIONS request. Default value is appliance. Send a complete copy of files of this type Displays the types of file that will be sent to the appliance without using the Preview option. (ICAP header: Transfer-Complete). By default, this is set to *, which disables previews. Send a preview copy of files of this type Displays the types of file that will be sent to the appliance using the Preview option. It is safe to add ico to this list to avoid sending this content for scanning. The most secure option is to scan all file types. Before turning off the scanning of any file type, consider the security risks.
