You might need to set this twice each year if your region observes daylight saving time. Specifies the date and the local time. To set the date, click the calendar icon. When clicked, sets the time on the appliance. You need to click this button before you click Next. If it is needed, you can configure Network Time Protocol (NTP) after installation. Enable NTP Enable NTP client broadcasts When selected, accepts NTP messages from a specified server or a network broadcast. When selected, accepts NTP messages from network broadcasts only. This method is useful on a busy network but must trust other devices in the network. When deselected, accepts NTP messages only from servers specified in the list. NTP Server Displays the network address or a domain name of one or more NTP servers that the appliance uses. If you specify several servers, the appliance examines each NTP message in turn to determine the correct time. Password Use this page in the Custom Setup Wizard to specify a password for the appliance. For a strong password, include letters and numbers. You can type up to 15 characters.
